Picked totally at random from library shelf. I'd never heard of the bloke. Looked artsy and poetsy on the front cover, which I subsequently found a bit disingenuous after I googled him and saw dozens and dozens of pics of him, none of which show him looking even remotely as handsome as this. In most of the other pics he looks like Marty Feldman. Yes, he picked the single most handsome photo of himself in existence for the book cover. That's fine. I guess. I dunno.
Great style though. Makes the writing malarkie look very easy. Not a novel mind you, just random memories over the course of his life from the vantage point of a 65-year old.
