Got hooked on this. In fact, confession time, I read the whole goddamn thing in a bookstore over the span of about 5 or 6 visits. Serves them right for putting benches in a bookstore. That's just asking for trouble from stingy fucker customers like me.
Written by a science guy so the book was bereft of chick bullshit and soppy emotional malarkie. The language ain't exactly florid. No effusive tautology here. Just the facts ma'am.
Would probably give another of his books a burl on the strength of this one.
